GameCityNights Poster

Lee Nicholls approached me a few weeks ago, asking whether I would be up to design a promotional poster for GameCityNights — a lovely soiree series celebrating videogame culture. Without even finishing the mail, I immediately opened photoshop and started working.

GameCityNights takes place on the last Thursday of every month in Nottingham, UK. Guests include for instance Brandon Boyer, Double Fine Productions, Brian Provinciano from Vblank Entertainment and many more.

Resident Evil 6 Official Trailer

Yes, that says Resident Evil 6. It seems all these leaks and teasers were all actually true, go figure. Leon and Chris are both in a main RE title for the first time, and they are indeed slating it for a November 20, release of this year. It looks like Capcom is trying something new, but also giving what fans wanted for years: a return to originality. Let’s hope it stays this way. Check it out!

The Greatest Skyrim Mod Ever

YouTube user FancyPants has created a mod that replaces dragons in Skyrim with “Macho Man” Randy Savage. It also includes The Trammps – Disco Inferno (ie. “Burn, Baby Burn”) and Macho Man’s signature “YEAHHH!!!!” before every blast of fire.

This is incredible.

I don’t play Skyrim, but if I did, I’d turn all the dragons into “Macho Man” Randy Savage. Wonderful.

#4 - My Little Tree of Happy Notes.

I love leaving notes and I love receiving notes. This little tree was a Christmas present and now sits on my desk at work. It also features a little Horace from last year’s GameCity because he makes me happy too.
